Agree. Burke probably scoops that ball. Lupicus does also but the E is definitely on AA. It’s a tougher adjustment moving from 2nd to SS than most people think.

The cold truth is that all 3 starters have been totally unpredictable and there is no way to ascertain the Landon statement. Maybe, maybe not. All three of these guys have been the Jekyl/Hyde syndrome for pretty much the entire SEC schedule. On any given night, no one really knows.

We started SEC play 4-8 this year. I believe it was 2023 when we started the SEC at 5-10, and ended up 16-14. That ended up being a very good year. Just saying.

Why we pitched to the OKie Bomber instead of walking him after the first two HR or triple is inexplicable to me. That was the ball game IMO

That team had solid pitching thou. Burns was a monster outta the pen. This team don’t have that.

You must have special powers to be able to prognosticate everything. Bet you’ve made lot of Vegas money. Seriously though, neither you, me, or anyone can definitively predict anything related to Vol pitching this year. Sorry to break the news to you.

I doubt Mack pitches at all in Hoover, he may not pitch the rest of this season and yeah, I would feel better about his chances if Frank was here. There’s lots of food on the table for that kid, we need to be patient. As a team, we are what we deserve at this point. Humbly submitted.

Yep. Just have to hope our starters can get deep into games and save as many of our pen arms as possible then it becomes a "by committee" affair.

One must consider there are teams worse off. And there are a teams that don’t have to do anything at all, and we are firmly planted in the middle, which may or may not help us. But, we gotta go take it.

Very true. You saw what happened to TAM last year under a first year coach. Tremendous job by Coach E of keeping them together.

It's a sign for sure, isn't?? I mean, how many players are on the field at the same time? Hmmm?? If your team gets 1 less hit than 10, whattayagot?? And if a pitcher strikes out one more opponent than 8, what the hell? This is crazy, isn't??????

Am very proud to be a 1979 graduate of the University of Tennessee/Glocker Country Club. Go Vols!!
