Yea, I started to go to that one but couldn't get off work. I probably could've If i tried harder but I didn't care about any of those teams lol

Every fan base has them. The whole way of looking at things where an opposition fan base is idealized (generalized from its best fans) and compared to the losers in our actual fan base (our worst fans) is off the mark. Go back and look at our early season 2023 and 2024 threads in games we lost. The same ole loud-mouthed goobers declared that CWS team and that national champion team both sucked.

I just put them all on ignore.
Yes, every fan base has them. But I doubt there’s a fan base in America that has grown more interest in baseball this decade and whose fan base has a higher % of recent fans than UT. With that comes more newbies who don’t understand the landscape of college baseball and the relativity of a college baseball loss, especially in midweeks and to mid-majors.

LSU, on the other hand, has been the baseball fan base equivalent of Kentucky basketball fans for decades now. So yes, I’m sure LSU has some of “those” types. But as an overall fan base, many more of them have been around long enough to understand that aforementioned landscape.

Perhaps next year UT will be in it….
I'm thinking we heard the same thing. For whatever reason we haven't been to one of the Peak Events managed tournaments since 2020 in Round Rock, so I could see that changing soon.

They've got Jax, Vegas, Round Rock (Austin), Frisco... all of which are pretty great options.

I greatly enjoyed Houston if we ended up there again.

UT has some sort of deal- I can't quite determine what kind- with REV Entertainment (its listed on the REV website and shots of the Dannyland project were in their promo video at Globe Life), so I could see us going back out to Arizona for their event.

Its a fun problem to have for sure.

He’s not getting fired this offseason even if he misses the post-season. Danny will give him time. If anything, he’s probably happy to not be distracted by baseball anymore.

Its also taking the heat off of Kim.

I don't think he gets fired in the off-season, I just don't think he is long for this position.

Like the guy, met him a few times at fundraisers for the university. Just honest opinion about the regression and inconsistent play.
