This team will be great by seasons end. We haven’t played our best yet, but it’s coming.
This team is just so young, growing pains. Yesterday 7 of nine starters are sophomores, today 6, plus a rookie head coach and a rookie pitching coach, season will be full of ups and downs, guess we just need to hold on and have fun.

So my observations after being here all weekend. people Most people agreed that a lot of our experience is in the pitching side of things. That why even allowing a really good UCLA team 12 runs is a little misleading. We also had three errors that accounted for several of those runs. One of the fans close to the program made the remark that if the sophomore class that is currently playing a lot doesn’t start producing that is may be time to give the freshman guys some abs. We currently have high school all Americans riding the bench who may produce if given the chance. Josh and the coaches see these guys everyday and I am sure they are playing the players who give us the best chance to win. It’s a good problem to have but we have to start hitting. The best thing about this weekend is we had no injuries and every parent I spoke with said that their kid loved Josh and the other coaches. Always a positive to get two of three especially when not hitting your best. Levi Clark hit two 405 ft bombs to dead center that absolutely would have been out of any college park.
