The Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread

Dumbfounded on Mike Tomlin sitting Fields and starting Wilson. Makes zero since.
I was concerned at first but it looks like a pretty good move now. Wilson struggled a little at first but played great in the 2nd half. I do see why he made the move the team has a higher ceiling with Wilson being the better passer but I would like to see a package for Fields in certain situations

Yeah,Tomlin is 54 and at that relatively young age for a coach that he's going to be getting several offers if he still wants to coach.

Careful what you wish for, brother. On the other hand, that’s absolutely been part of the problem.

I am hesitant to wish you well in your pursuit of a new HC, but the Steelers are an NFL anchor. 😉🤙🏼
it's a long video with a commercial in the middle but lays out Tomlin's faults and long history of failure. Dont just listen to his lapdogs at ESPN

Not required. I’ve kept a side eye on the Steelers since they were bloodying the nose of the Oilers on a regular basis. Marginal success was just fine to me as a Texans fan. A lot of fans down here felt a sense of sweet “Renfro Revenge”

Feels like it might be the end of an era, or certainly of a streak at least. He’s going to have to coach ‘til he’s 80 to have an average tenure. If he makes it a decade, stays over .500 every year and picks up 3+ AFC north titles, I’m content. The rest is gravy. One of the reasons I like the Steelers is for not burning the house down over not winning a Super Bowl.
