And this is why it’s annoying to talk about Judge. He’s having an absolutely amazing season and then Jon Heyman forgets Bonds existed.

Didn’t forget:
Judge can say that about anyone. His season is maybe better than the very best. Throwing out Barry Bonds’ seasons, and I wish we would, the best seasons were turned in by Mickey Mantle (1956 and 1957), Carl Yastrzemski (1967), Lou Gehrig (1927) and of course Ruth (1920, 1921 and 1927).

Also, seeing a 60-HR season currently in Triple Crown pole position and going “But does he pitch??”, which is everywhere, does more than anything to make the conversation annoying

Yeah, because Ohtani is literally doing something nobody in the history of baseball.

Aaron Judge, while incredible this year, is doing stuff that has been done before.

A 60 HR Triple Crown season has been done before? By who?

Yes, these recycled Twitter talking points that no one thinks through for 5 seconds are 10x as annoying as comparing Judge to Bonds (which I still haven’t seen anyone actually do). You yourself would vote for Judge because you think he’s more deserving of MVP, and by WAR he’s easily better, so why do we need to hear about how oHtAnI iS mOrE rArE

Okay, I got the game. It is free on apple tv. Just need an account. No need to enter payment info, it's free to all. 👍
