Last game i went to at Neyland, Dad and I ran into a couple of Hokie fans. Bumped a few beers with them. Pretty fair folk (they rootin’ agin dem nasty gatorsThank y’all for the game thread.
Let’s hope ourVols can beat the wahoos!
I grew up in 70’s-80’s in VA- can’t stand UVA nor VA Tech!
Go Vols!
Kuhns needs to dominate against Vandy and LSU lineups: both have been inconsistent to start the year, and if they manage to "get right" against him then that should probably be the end of the Kuhns starting on Friday experiment@taylorvol
I agree Kuhns should be given a couple more starts but Appenzeller should be ready to go at first sign of trouble...
Mizzou had a coach with a solid plan.I’ve been spending most of my time in the softball threads but keeping up with the BaseVols. This is not the same Missouri team of past years. They’re going to give a lot of teams trouble. Really good series W for our boys
I have lived in VA for the past 35 years. Frankly, neither UVA or VA Tech “matter” much to me at all. Most of my wardrobe is UT apparel and I have UT vanity plates on my truck. Their fans seldom make eye contact let alone talk smack. I have a few former work colleagues who are big UVA fans. They are what I call “revisionist smack talkers” who will only speak up if we lose and then it’s still pretty weak. They are the type who if they beat South Carolina in baseball would brag about “beating the mighty SEC”…….Thank y’all for the game thread.

100% agree with all of thatMizzou had a coach with a solid plan.
It’s gonna be a slow process but they’ll eventually catch up.
The school, boosters, and fans need step up or get out of the SEC. They were woefully unprepared in all sports for the rigors required. And I joked earlier, but the school really suffered from the asinine student protests from 10-11 years ago.
Im a UT alum, but also a UVA alum. My blood runneth orange, UT orange! But, I will always pull for the hoos except when playing UT. Altho, politically, Im about done with UVA.I have lived in VA for the past 35 years. Frankly, neither UVA or VA Tech “matter” much to me at all. I’ve been to several UVA games (about an hour from where I live) with my work buddies and the facilities for baseball and basketball are really nice. Football seemed a bit “jr league” compared to SEC schools but it was very easy getting in and out of there. Of the two, I much prefer UVA but get why you are “about done”.Im a UT alum, but also a UVA alum. My blood runneth orange, UT orange! But, I will always pull for the hoos except when playing UT. Growing up back in the George Welsh days, we had UVA season tickets. The football stadium, JPJ and Davenport are all beautiful facilities with the ode to Monticello. University Hall, the house that Ralph built, was quite the basketball arena at the time. I can appreciate the architectural detail to keep the university looking “colonial.” Also a little partial to UVA architecture, my daughter is an architect grad.I’ve been to several UVA games (about an hour from where I live) with my work buddies and the facilities for baseball and basketball are really nice. If Kuhns doesn’t show the ability to consistently give you 6 quality innings in Nashville, I move to the following rotation the following weekend:@taylorvol
