KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 4/6 Tennessee will look to rebound from a disappointing weekend and start this week on a high note Tuesday night when it hosts in-state foe Lipscomb at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
First pitch between the Vols and Bisons is slated for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app.

Cannon Turning a Corner
Cannon Peebles has begun to turn a corner offensively for the Vols, batting .320 with eight hits, three home runs and six RBIs in the team's last 10 games. The junior backstop recorded three hits in back-to-back SEC games, doing so in the series finale at Ole Miss before following that up with anther three-hit day in the opening game against Kentucky last Friday. In that win over the Wildcats, the switch-hitting Peebles homered from both sides of the plate and finished with a season-high four RBIs.
Fischer's On-Base Streak Continues to Climb
Junior infielder Andrew Fischer has been an on-base machine for the Big Orange this season, leading the team with a .497 on-base percentage and an SEC-high 43 walks. The New Jersey native is the only player on the team to have reached base in all 40 games this season. Dating back to his time at Ole Miss last season, Fischer has reached base safely in 43 consecutive contests.
