The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

wouldnt that in most cases be considered the exception though?

I mean before that 1, where they met the pats 3-4 times in the playoffs (I think too after a season win, but that might not be true of them all) and the pats won in the postseason?

We have not beat them in the regular season and then lost to them in the playoffs, that has not happened. The winner of the regular season game has won all of the playoff meeting as well.

If it happened, it was only 1 time. Back then the Colts couldn't beat the Patriots period.

I don't recall it happening recently. As far as I can remember the winner in the regular season has won every post season game. The Colts have won 5 out of the last 6 so this rivalry has turned.

I disagree, I am not saying for sure we win it all, but back then the offense had to win shoot outs the D could not stop anyone. Now we can rely on the D to get stops when we have to get it.

Yes, but they also get gashed a lot. There's no way they let a NE, Cincy, or San Diego get up 17 like that and they come back and win.

Cincy are you serious? They lost to the Raiders. Out of those 3 teams you listed I am least worried about the Bengals. The D gives up yards but not points. Coming into yesterday the Colts had given up the least amount of points in the NFL

I'd like to see there D, be there at the beginning, so they didn't have to keep winning, by coming from behind

Well over these last 5 games the offense has not really set the world on fire early in the games either. The D is bend but don't break. And up til now they have done their jobs.

Isn't there some past history of the colts beating the pats in season and then losing to them in the playoffs?

So long as we're discussing history... when did the Titans last win a World Championship?

See I wasn't being a dick with mine, I was asking if there had been some previous trend of the colts not matching up well against the pats in the postseason...more than just one win two years ago

However, I guess you wanted to act that way, so more power to you there buddy. Hope the immaturity and being "that guy" really pays you off in the long run....:ermm:

Let it go dude. Indy fans are horrible. We had more fans in their stadium for the playoff game in 99 than they did. They got a hard road ahead when manning leaves. Definitly a rebuilding process and their fans won't show up to support them unless they are winning.

Being wrong sucks doesn't it. 5-0 record top 5 in QB rating. 99yrd game winning drive in two in a half minutes, converting on 4 4th downs, and he was responsible for every yard on the drive as CJ didn't get a carry. That drive was up thier with the likes of elway and Montana. VY is the guy

We'll see how much he is the guy when the Titans are sitting at home come mid January.

lmao at all the Titans fans talking shiz. Win or lose this week, we got this conference on lock.

How many Titans fans will be in any stadium this year in the playoffs? Let me answer for you, 0 because the Titans will be sitting at home while the good teams are actually playing games in January. And Peyton has several good years left. Will there be a rebuilding process, sure but as long as we have Bill Polian he will keep us competitive. Its funny how you have to point to how good or not we will be in about 7 years or so from now, its because you know as long as 18 is under center you will not win this division on a consistent basis.

Really? Did you count?

Didn't have to. The colts front office changed the way they sold tickets to the titans indy game because of that playoff game. Find a replay and watch it. It was like a homegame for us it was so loud when manning was under center.got a friend that lives in indy. He said the days following that game indy fans were pissed and calling into the radio stations angry at the colts fan base for not showing up. Like I said. Crappy fans.

U maybe right. We may not go to da playoffs but it won't be youngs fault. U posted he wasn't the guy. I'd say a 5-0 record and his epic 99 yd drive proves that he is. Colts are a better team but at least give vy his credit

You all are 5-0 in your last 5 due to 1 guy, Chris Johnson no one else.

Have you seen all of the empty seats in LP Feild? I would not be talking about fan support or lack there of if I were you, I was downtown for the Colts game and the crowd was almost split.
