Figured I would get it started early, since I'm sure we'll hear alot of them after 09/17.

Here, I'll start...

The refs screwed us again.

We have a new coach.

How do you expect us to learn a new offense so quickly?

Etc...

From an unbiased perspective though, officiating in that game, especially that crucial call against Florida, was poor.

As I've said on here before, if the officials did blow a call, it merely evens the score for the Jabar Gafney touchdown drop in Y2K

Any team who lets a game stay close enough to be "decided" by officiating was not beaten by officiating.

On to excuses...

Those thugs at UThug played too rough.

Is it legal to have a running back that strong/fast?

But... we're Florida. We're supposed to win!

ESPN said Urban was good!

All of Zook's players aren't gone yet.

There have been so many bad calls in the recent years that I think it all evens out. so take your unbiased approach and go home.

Yep I agree, but a lot more had to happen for Florida to lose, Leak going 3 and out, The Florida secondary letting Ainge pick them apart and a 52 yard Wilhoit field goal to end it.

However I am glad the SEC will be using instant replay this year it's long over due, you can't even really blame the refs, it's hard enough to hear yourself think at an SEC game could you imagine what's it's like to officiating a game.

Meyer: "Wow, those linebackers are fast. This isn't like it was in the MW."

Leak: "Darn it C. J., you said 2 tugs on the ear meant a safety blitz. Now I'm talking out of my butt after they sent the whole student body after me."

Instant replay wouldn't have changed anything in that sequence, though.

not saying it would but all the bickering about the bad play calls is stupid - we have been screwed just as much as they have so at this point I call it even and say move on.

EDIT:besides when was the last time talked to an unbiased Memphis fan?? I live here and people still talk about the ONE time they beat UT!!

Meyer: "Who do you think I am ...Steve Spurrier??""

gotcha.

Back to the subject...

WAH!!!!! Your big ol defensive linemen hit Chrissy one too many times, and he couldn't complete passes anymore.

Haha, orangetd got this from GSMB :D.

Everyone will come up with a reason they lost. Im sure if ( I like to say when :D) UF wins, Im sure people will be making excuses or reason they lost. Everyone does it. But Im sure that the winner will be the better team.

I guess that Urban is smarter than I give him credit for if he bought that site already. Now that's some looking ahead.

Urban didnt buy the site, a Gator fan did.  He wwas indeed thinking ahead. :)

But why would he buy it if Meyer is the second coming? You have "enlightened" (read: bored to tears) us with his resume and yet there would still be people not happy? Absolutely amazing.
