Coach Fulmer got his 100th career victory as Tennessee head coach on November 2nd, 2002 as Tennessee defeated South Carolina in Columbia by a score of 18-10.

Crazy that it took that man just about 10 years to win 100 games at UT.
Have we won 100 since he left in 2008 (BTW, I believe Fulmer ended up with 149 or 150 wins here)...my research says NO !!!
Thanks to the Pruitt vacancies, UT has only won 89 games in that time span.

Oh yeah and for the naysayers and non-believers, Mr. Josh Heupel is responsible for 27 of those in only 3 years.
That's almost 1/3 third of the output in 1/5 of the time span !!!

Running back Gene McEver was the sole reason Tennessee beat Alabama in Birmingham on Oct. 30, 1928. He returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown and later caught a touchdown from Bobby Dodd for both of the Vols' scores in the 15-13 upset.
