If he leaves that would be my guess too and probably a smarter move. At USC all you have to compete with is Oregon and maybe Utah or Washington every few years. In the SEC you are in the shark pool bleeding before you get started.

That one I didn't see coming, but what I gather from their forums their fans absolutely hated him and are thrilled he's gone. They supposedly almost fired him after last season - I wonder if a lot of their admin/boosters were never quite on board with him to begin with.
