The sad thing since starting SEC play is that other teams have figured us out. No one fears us offensively and teams are starting to hang points on our defense

Without Springer we don't have a true elite guard. Vescovi is better at the off guard. James and Deon aren't true guards. But tonight there were other problems, we didn't block out and rebound at all and our defense broke down tonight. We were cold as ice and didn't attack the basket enough. But our true weakness is we don't have but truly one great ball handling guard and that is Springer freshman and all. Can't wait till we get him and chandler out front and then we won't be easy to attack. When Springer is in he is fast enough and good enough ball handler to get on up the floor. Vescovi just isn't very quick and it limits him, not knocking him he just isn't quite good enough at point. GBO!

I dont even blame him...he's the only one taking shots the whole first half and it sprinkled out of control.

Pretty well known he had Covid and lost a good bit of summer gain. Then was battling wrist injury. I’d say he’s about 15-20 down from his summer weight.

Fair point, and especially premature given that Alabama vs. LSU has yet to tip-off. I just don't know if Alabama, should they win tonight, will lose two games in conference this season with that slate (let alone three).
