I agree our pen struggled last year and I think we went too far away from the big arm fastball guys , I also think we have the worst bullpen in the league just comparing ours to who we’ve played against , I do think with Frank we probably win a few more games but I honestly think it’s a talent issue just comparing us to the other top teams in the league , E is a smart baseball guy he knows what we needThe bullpen last year wasn’t good either. I do agree that some of the arms definitely aren’t SEC caliber and that E is going to have to retool the pen again in the off-season. Krenzel has regressed big-time and I seriously doubt he’s here next season. Arvidson hasn’t been as good and he graduates. Appenzeller has hit the Freshman wall. The rest of the pen has been downright awful. There’s a coaching problem.
I do appreciate that we are holding runners this year. Stolen bases have been wayyyy downI agree our pen struggled last year and I think we went too far away from the big arm fastball guys , I also think we have the worst bullpen in the league just comparing ours to who we’ve played against , I do think with Frank we probably win a few more games but I honestly think it’s a talent issue just comparing us to the other top teams in the league , E is a smart baseball guy he knows what we need
Finish SEC play with 16 wins and in the conversation for a host bid. We’re Awright. Got a bunch of young men some valuable experience. We took the series from the #4 team. Maybe it will pay dividends down the road. I only know one thing for sure. I’m here for it!!!
GBO!!!
Horns down! The #3 Tennessee LV rowing team made history by winning its first Southeastern Conference (SEC) title, edging out #1 Texas in a nail-biting finish.
I have no doubt LSU baseball will be back to itself.Tough day today Vols, but great series win! Has to feel good that post season play is in the bank!
I’m outside waiting for my dog to take a dump right now, which is honestly more interesting than watching my Tigers get the crap kicked out of them, and completely embarrassed! We’re about to be run ruled.
Man, I’ve never been one to quit on my Tigers in any sport, but this is an incredibly difficult watch. On the bright side, CJJ should have plenty of time for recruiting and to work the portal now! But… meh… this particular “bright side” is pretty depressing! lol. Hell, I can’t even say, “ there’s always Hoover”, bc that’s just going to be a 1st round exit as well! Anyway, congrats again on a great weekend!
