Fans wanted to believe Barnes could work his magic and have Turner, Bowden and JJ step right in and pick up where Admiral, Grant and Bone left off. I've never felt good about Turner or Bowden being the focal point of the team. Neither has shown the consistency and while JJ might be the next Magic Johnson, he's still a true freshman. Gonna take some time for him to adjust.

We just don't have the roster for 20 wins and a tournament run. Adding a lot of talent next year, but like JJ, they'll need some time. If we keep the studs around for a couple of years, we might get back to the Admiral/Grant level.

Not calling a deep tournament run necessarily, but I think the talent next year is much further along than what we have seen. Elite athleticism and ability to score. Add them to more experienced post play, and it should be fun.,
