Really hope you're right. Don't have long to fix it with UGA looming week 3. I don't expect us to win the game, but expect to be competitive in the game at least. We were 3rd in SEC last season in this stat. Saturday we were bad, we won't be the whole season I bet.

As go to playmakers develop and we get more work with situational practice I believe we'll see better execution, and you are correct, we need improvement there sooner rather than later.Really hope you're right. We're ranked 2nd to last in 3rd down conversions at 9%. Nit pick all you want at the anology I used but let that sink in.
I'm not very good at being original when it comes to picking a screen name.I expect maybe they’ll still say except they want a Tebow, Newton, Peyton Manning, etc meaning ja consistent great thrower, proven great winner, and a QB with that gives fans highest confidence which would be a 10 that the Volunteers win 8 of the 10 games or possibly 9.
Great Vols avatar that I see you are shown, and a Big Tennessee Volunteers T logo above your head, also your username leaves nothing to the imagination.
My Instagram name is JasonTheTitansFan and no person has ever thought I mean the Cal State Fullerton Titans, same College that has had talented great College World Series baseball teams.
JasonCase wasn’t available and I didn’t feel like using some number after my last name.
Nobody mentioned Indiana, the guy mentioned the Ky and Miss St games last year, 2 games in which JG was nearly perfect, the stats are above. Another gotcha moment you tried for and once again you're not even close to what was originally being debated. Do you agree or disagree that 13-15 for 220 with 3 TDs and zero interceptions in 2 wins is quality QB play or not? I guess you too had rather take 11 for 23 for 150 with 0 TDs and 3 ints.If your argument is that he had a 'near perfect' game vs Indiana, then there truly is no reaching you with reality.
Can't disagree with anything in this post except, "Yes he made mistakes, but nothing that isn't correctable." Those mistakes haven't been corrected yet, so I doubt they will be. Then again, it is 2020 and after the way this year has gone I now believe any darned thing is possible.Come on folks, it was the first game, we beat Muschamp again and this team has dealt with varying levels of Covid quarantines. JG had very little practice time because of that to establish a rapport with his receivers. Yes he made mistakes, but nothing that isn't correctable. He had some good moments as well. Some of the keys to the game, should have went for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking a 47 yd FG. Should have ran the ball the 4th quarter and controlled the clock and game, thats not on JG, thats on Cheney.
