I'm perfectly ok with losing in the tourney due to our pitching depth and getting guys healthy. Win or lose wasn't really going to affect us either way. Get healthy and win the tournament that actually counts.

Latest D1 projection had us at Southern Miss. I don’t think we’ll be a 2 seed in ATL. I guess I could possibly see Chapel Hill

I would take Chapel Hill all day, every day over Hattiesburg. UNC chokes a lot and Southern Miss is one of those teams that always has the mindset of the underdog and will play you into the ground to the very last out.

Sucks that Arky always benefits from playing our more flawed teams. They got the fortune of playing us in both ‘23 and ‘25 in Fayetteville while avoiding us altogether in ‘22 and ‘24, which were clearly Tony’s most elite teams. They did beat us 3/4 in 2021 so I’ll give em that. They haven’t come to LNS since 2021.

Exactly. They got what they needed out of this game. Some bullpen arms had clean innings. Several guys saw the ball come off the bat well. Several guys made great plays in the field.

Huh? Blanco looked terrible. His uniform was soaked before he even throw his first pitch, and those homers were absolute moonshots. Pitchers gave up numerous home runs. This team just isn’t very good and no way they come out of a regional with that pitching staff. Rhudy celebrating like we had the lead. Not sure what that nonsense was. Sorry for the reality check.

Yep, my thoughts exactly a little reset, with the pitching/Mack back & get Chapman back & see what we can do. I thought Eisenfelder looked good next up for Chap, got his bat on the ball and made a good deep catch at the top of the fence, GBO
