Lack of foul territory really helps the hitters. Combine that with the relatively short dimensions and the wind blowing out to left field most games and It's amazing to me how the pitching staff has such a low ERA in that little bandbox. I'm astounded that CTV can attract that kind of pitching talent given the harm that little stadium could do to their numbers.

Agreed. It doesn‘t hurt having CFA when you’re trying to attract that elite pitching talent.

My daughter had the chance to get some keeper training from coach Kirt.
He’s a good guy that knows the game very well.
He has that fire in him and will push the young ladies but he also has that understanding aspect where he can calmly teach, rather than motivate the hard way.
I think it’s a good hire and he is ready to lead a program!

Let's play 'What If'. What if we lose no more than one or two games from here to the final series against MSU. We would not only hsve the SEC regular season championship in hand, we'd also then be in line to either break or tie the full SEC season record, set by Vandy at 27-3. If so, should we A) go for the record (or the tie) by trying to win as much as we can at MSU, or 2) rest our starters (especially our pitching starters) and care less about the outcome of those games and the record?

Man, these fans were insane! The hoodlum section was surrounded by plexiglass with razor wire! These fools were shooting LARGE Roman candles onto the field and when the ref pulled a yellow card, water bottles started raining down on the field and exploding like little bombs! You think 90,000 singing Rocky Top in Neyland Stadium is something, you should see these jokers with their futbol chants!
My mind was blown!
An experience I’ll never forget.
I could only imagine what a Chelsea or Bayern match would be like?!
