Not sure I agree about the final play. I’ll take getting the ball in that deep with .9 on the clock. Zee should’ve finished thatValiant effort by the LV. Caldwell is clearly the right coach and going to be very successful, but that defense on the final possession and the play she drew up with 1 second left were both a bit suspect. Still, nice effort.

That’s fair I guess. I was a bit surprised to see Jewel throwing it in given how hot she was shooting, but I thought the look ended up being okMaybe. She didn’t catch it cleanly and she was double teamed and had to fade a bit on her shot. It wasn’t terrible, but I’m surprised with how well they shoot the 3 they didn’t set something up to get a catch and shoot on the perimeter.

Not sure about the time. I didn’t get a second look, as I slammed my laptop shut when she missedYeah, I don’t think it was necessarily a bad play. Just not what I expected. I’m also not so sure the clock didn’t start a bit late. I didn’t think she got her shot off by the time she came down with it and then went back up, which is another reason why I thought they might elect for a perimeter shot.
Maybe with more PT Dubar will become an asset down the stretchVols are really nearing a critical level health and available players. It might be what lowers the ceiling of this team this year. Mashack less than 100%, Phillips clearly limited, we're down to 2 healthy reliable bigs (sorry Dubar not really reliable).
100%Exactly. Barnes said as much when he said our frontline got outplayed. These are the type teams that not having Estrella just kills us. It’s going to take some adjustments to beat Florida in Knoxville.
