Yeah, you were one of them. "It's Vols or NBA".

This was Gruden Mania all over. People coming out of the woodwork with "connections in the midstate" or "knew Tanner's family." Meanwhile, Nakos, VQ, or any Vandy source of any kind reported a single thing about it. Crazy how they were all plugged in with great info on every recruit we talked to or signed other than Tanner. Must be a coincidence!
The unrealized irony is that your cynicism on the subject is no more based in factual knowledge than the information you claim to be some homespun fairy tale.

What is behind the effort to publicly restate your opinion on the matter, unprovoked, no less? Like, we get it....you don't believe TT was ever an option, and no amount of evidence will convince you otherwise. Duly noted.

Stephen Hargis is plugged in around Chattanooga and had a source on Gruden. Just saying.

Question for streamers/cord cutters. Which is better for getting every Vols football and basketball game possible, YouTube Tv or Hulu + Live?

My experience has been that they’re about the same and it’s the random contract disputes that cause problems. Having access to the ESPN online only stuff and the SECN alternate channel are the big things to double check for getting all the UT games.

YTTV is by far the best streaming platform, and I've tried them all. Never have any buffering issues and the DVR feature is fantastic.

I pick it up from September thru March (hopefully April next year) and get every game except the few on ESPN+.

Tennessee has moved up to #6 in ESPN's post-draft withdrawl Way-Too-Early Top 25. Up 11 spots from their previous spot of #17.

Florida, Duke, Michigan, Illinois, and UCONN are the top 5.

Texas at #9
Arkansas at #11
Bama at #15
Vandy at #18
Mizzou at #20
SEC should be a good bit improved next year. Vols should start somewhere ranked between 8-12 when polls come out in the fall.

That's what I was wondering about. The Hulu + Live looks like it comes with ESPN + as part of the package, but I didn't know if youtube let you access the online stuff. I'm thinking of giving my tickets to my kids and grandkids from now on and staying home for games. I just want to make sure I don't miss anything. I believe both have the local Knoxville stations.

Last time I checked, they both had it, but I have Hulu currently so I can only vouch for their offerings at the moment. They give me access to everything I need, but the recording options are a little clunky imo

Maybe I’m just being overly pessimistic, but #6 seems a bit optimistic. I like the roster we built, but think there are still a few gaps that I have questions about translating to a full season. Torvik has us at #17 right now, which seems more realistic.

I’m still pumped for the season though. Rick has a way of getting teams to exceed expectations usually.

Damn, it's a hell of a lot worse in the Lady Vols game thread after a loss than the BB forum. Never had been over there until thus past Saturday. Some real trash

I expect Torvik’s updates will move us up a good bit, having us behind Ohio State is enough alone to question those rankings. I think 6-10 is probably a pretty fair range for us.

Another beautiful thing about the summer… none of em scare me! lol bring em all on!!

Seriously, if the bigs fit the role, it should be a really fun year. As long as fans can cruse control expectations the first month or so.
