The next 3? 4? 8? Games will test all Vols in so many ways.

It won’t just be the losses.
It won’t just be the blowouts.
It will be what comes with it.
For us hardcore fans, there will be the pain of the ridicule and fake pity of opposing fan bases.
For the players, all of the losses will add up physically and emotionally and the inevitable finger pointing and locker room upheaval will ensue.

But, the most important thing for the long term health of our program is this.
Trying to keep our highest level four star commits to stick with us and to cobble together a 15-20 type rated recruiting class.
Our best commits will undoubtedly be deluged with anti UT texts, phone calls, etc. trying to convince them that we are a lost cause and that Pruitt is not someone they should play for.

Pruitt and most of this staff are proven big winners on the field and in living rooms. But, I doubt many have faced the level of adversity that will come with a potential 3-4 win season that includes multiple blowouts to our rivals.
Their recruiting talents will be tested more than anytime in most of their careers.
I hope they can handle it.
We desperately need big time talent and we need it as soon as possible. Go Vols. I’m with you and will pull hard for you thru our coming storms.

Maybe we can get someone to play down to our level of competition...surely there's one of our SEC brothers out there who we can beat to ruin their seasons.

If you look at comparable scores, that would be Vandy. Actually, it would be Arkansas who is unfortunately not on the schedule.

It will be brutal. I don’t plan to watch - too painful. Maybe some leaders on the team will emerge for the future but we are just completely outclassed right now.

I totally agree; we need to buckle up because the future looks bleak as far as winning. We need to stop the bashing because our football team has been run into the dirt and it is not going to get better quickly. I hate it as much as anyone and I live in Alabama, that is unbearable enough but I wouldn't pull for any other team. If and when things do get better that will make it all the better.

It’s going to be a rough stretch.

I still don’t think our players are mentally ready for what’s to come.

Pruitt has a tough task ahead of him.

Losing to GA, Bubba and Auburn this year, I wont feel a thing. Those are games I expected this group would get blown out. Getting blown out against the gators hurt tho because I was hoping for a win there.

Stop calling them games and refer to them as "learning" experiences.

May take some of the sting away because those teams can go ahead and name their scores against the Vols.

We all knew what we were in for this season as soon as the schedule was released. This 5 game stretch would be rough even with a halfway decent team. I saw where Wanya Morris tweeted that he couldn’t wait to get to Rocky Top, so hopefully he doesn’t get discouraged and flip. We need him and Wright really bad.

Pruitt will have never gone thru what is ahead.
I think Fulmer needs to help him with the public relations and media stuff.
Fulmer is much better at putting a good face on things.
He will talk about our old tradition and his commitment to get the program back.
Pruitt will just put it in stark realistic terms that we suck.
Fulmer needs to boost Pruitt and the staffs credibility and abilities and calm the nerves of the commitments and their families that will waiver. Yes, we will lose some of them.
But, hopefully, not all of them and I think Fulmer can help some with that. At least, I hope that he can.

Afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better under Pruitt. Just like the players and recruits, we just have to hang on....

As long as the test is true or false, then they would have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. Multiple choice will kill them.
