Jarnell Stokes is now the all time leading rebounder on the Hill. He has also tied Bernard King's all time double-double mark for a single season.

Here's to hoping he adds significantly to those numbers this year.

Congrats Jarnell!

Stokes is an amazing rebounder! For those who remember, it was amazing what King accomplished as he was not nearly as large as Stokes. Wishing Stokes the same NBA success as King!

We could potentially ride this Sequoia all the way to Arlington. He's dangerously close to becoming my favorite player that's ever played for Tennessee.

The number 5 has been represented tremendously well between Stokes and Lofton. Any chance for a co-retirement between the two for the number?

I think his improvement along the way lends itself greatly to achieving that mark in my books. I no longer cringe when he is at the FT line or when he is playing defense. I really love his demeanor and maturity as well.

If Stokes had a mean streak to him like King did he could own a lot of UT records. He has come a long way.

I think it's fair to say "Engine #5" is the most physically imposing player we've ever had. Seeing him up close last night gave me a real appreciation for his size.

I think this meant single season, correct? I'm seeing him still being around 300 behind the all time career leader Gene Tormohlen and 7th place all time. But one more season would likely put him in first.

Unless they have changed the criteria I don't think Stokes qualifies to have his number retired, at least based on accomplishment to date.
