The show is described as a contemporary, mockumentary-style comedy that will explore "the Muppets' personal lives and relationships both at home and at work, as well as romances, breakups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desiresa more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages." The series will be produced by ABC Studios and The Muppets Studio, with Randall Einhorn and Muppet performer Bill Barretta serving as executive producers, alongside Prady and Kushell
