I used to love watching Aikman run for his life and Reggie would still chase him down. LOL I'll never forget the Packers playing Detroit on Thanksgiving day, and Reggie
had one arm in a cast, and he picked up that poor tackle with one arm, lifted him up off the ground, and tossed him aside like a rag doll. Just an awesome player to watch.
I wish UT would put together a highlight reel on Reggie and I'd make sure every recruit watched it during their visit.
Wait, they already did...John Ward narrates.

The greatness of this man off the field was unbelievable. My old high school was playing Howard HS in a sub state play off game in basketball. My old school is all white and Howard all black. There had been some chatter in the days leading up to the game that their could possibly be some problems before during or after the game.My old school was hosting the game.About 5 minutes before the start in walked ReggiE White. He strolled over to the Howard side of the court and sat down in the front row facing the packed home side of the gym. What he did next was one of the most unbelievable things I've ever witnessed he strolled over to the home side of the court and started shaking hands and even hugged a few elderly ladies and some small kids. When it was almost time for the game to start he walked back across the court toward the Howard side.Half way across he stopped.Because by then the home side of 1500 or so were all standing along with the visitors side chanting Reggie,Reggie,Reggie. He completely defused what could have been an ugly racial conflict with out saying a word.He did it with his big ole smile and his Christian love for his fellow man whether they were black or white. The game was one of the cleanest most well played high school games you would want to ever witness.I've been a Vol fan all my 49 years on this earth. What he did at UT and in the NFL were amazing. But my fondest memory of The Minister of Defense was an act of kindness and love for his fellow man.
Could not love this more.
