I'm looking at the Tennessee fan reaction to the game today and it is cringeworthy. The sky is now falling because Tennessee had an off game today. I am seeing Volnation collectively concede the last three games on the schedule. People act as if one game will define this season. Have people already forgotten that the sky was falling when Tennessee got blown out by West Virginia and Florida? Guess what? The Vols have competed with every SEC team ,except Alabama, since that awful loss to Florida. Tennessee managed to knock off Auburn (who is looking good right now after a win over A&M) and almost beat South Carolina. If you look at Tennessee's overall body of work and our common opponents for the last three teams we play, there is no reason to believe we can't beat all three of them. If you really think there's no chance we can win these games and go bowling, you are being irrational and you are more committed to your negative narrative about this season than you are to facts and logic.

I think people I’ve seen say we have no chance added “if we play like we did today” to it.

ESPN has us projected to lose the last three, so it’s not outrageous. But can we win if we play better? Absolutely. Let’s hope that starts Saturday. I’d love to see us knock off Kentucky.

We've won 1 sec game in 2 years
Our line can't block anybody
Our qb has his issues, but not putting it all on him
We couldn't score but 1 td on offense against Charlotte

Those are just a few facts. It's not being irrational, it's just most likely we will not win another game. I get being positive, but you gotta be real also. I'll truly be shocked if we beat any of the 3 teams left we play. I hope we do, I really want to be wrong.

I'll not be able to go home for Christmas if we lose to KY again.

Off game? That was the norm.

I've read more posts like this over the last ten years...... I don't even want to think about how many.... and I don't want to to read any more of this.... you need to realize it's going to be an uphill battle the next two years at the very least.... this team is awful

Just ridiculous. Given the last 10 years, it takes a whole lot more “mental gymnastics” to be a PosiVol than it takes to be a NegaVol. In other words, we’ve seen a whole lot more negatives than positives.

And, to be clear, I haven’t given up on Pruitt yet. But, I’m tired of watching BELOW MEDIOCRE football.

Yeah, QB has issues....the 5 lousy OLinemen that Will Friend puts in front of him each week who act like turnstiles.

Off games are for baseball where there are 161 chances to redeem poor performance. Predicting how the last three will go is impossible due to the team's inconsistent effort and performance from quarter to quarter. But it feels like:
Chance to win one: 72%
Chance to win two: 31%
Chance to win three: 9%
Chance to win naught: 4.5%

You can't say that's completely negative.

No such thing as a negavol. How is looking at something realistically and rationally a bad thing? I still watch every game no matter what. But seeing things on the field and telling you I believe because the way we have played all year that we will lose out is an observational opinion. Not a negavol.......

I am sorry . Is it a requirement to not see what actually happened in a game or on a particular play to be a member of this club ?
I mean Heaven forbid , some one dis-agree with the first person to start the thread .

The defense played well , sorta . it was Charlotte , after all .The Offense as usual was not very good . From my limited knowledge looks like we need 11 more guys on that side . So go . Tell me how I hate such and such . it 's the same after every loss .
