The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Let Shurmur play

McCrary just isn't the answer. I say spend the next 2 weeks getting Shurmur ready for the future. IMMYAXL

This explains so much to me... Thanks

Our little buddy immy getting eaten alive by his fellow common dores. Immy wants to burn the redshirt off a true freshman - believing it would salvage their season. :eek:lol:

Vandys issue is they are trying to run a pro style system with a quaterback that can't pass for **** . They need to run more spread option

The problem is they will still chalk up a "guaranteed" win against Kentucky (not likely, they looked decent last night against Auburn) and UT (not ****ing happening this year) even with a loss to USCe.

Trust me, in their delusion ridden minds they will find six wins on their remaining schedule to justify the reasoning they will make a bowl game.

I don't know about the 6 wins, but your first part is spot on. They have some even saying after last night they "always" thought UK and Mizzou were better shots at wins because they are at Vandy.

My favorite from VM was the "charity" for USCe since they just had the flooding.

Apparently since everyone felt sorry for South Carolina going through the natural disaster, the refs and Vandy were going to be more lenient towards USCe out of pity. And that's the reason they lost.

I guess LSU is just a bunch of heartless jerks then since they didn't feel like letting SC win last week.

I'd also like to know what alternate universe they live in where Vandy has ever had a homefield advantage. UK will definitely have their stadium at least 50% blue and Mizzou will bring 10-15K at least.

Well thats not exactly fair. Lets be honest they could play a game that as every Vandy fan in the world show up and the other teams fans not care and they would still be out numbered int heir own stadium.

It's been mentioned several times in this thread but could someone list the outrageous academic requirements for the players?

It's a great question Coug. I have had the opportunity to work with a few ex Vandy players and I seriously question the notion that they have a really high academic bar for their players.

That's the biggest fallacy of Vandy and their student athletes. I knew a number of athletes many moons ago that got in that were not good students in high school. They snuck them in Peabody. They did that for a number of years. Then people said they changed and didn't allow exceptions for their student athletes. Then along came James Franklin. People who think he didn't get the admin to allow exceptions are either blind, stupid or both. He was recruiting from the same cesspool as the rest of the SEC.

Fwiw, Vegas Insider just posted the over/under at 34 for the Missouri vs Vandy game this Saturday. That is the lowest over/under for an SEC match up since 1993 and I would still jump all over the under. That will not exactly be must see tv.

Two world class defenses taking the field

I honestly think Vandy wins this game, and I almost fainted while typing this. I've seen Missouri play twice this year, and they have both EASILY been the worst college football I've seen in years (Uconn and UGA). They are horrible, horrible, horrible. Missouri will not win another game all year.

Vanderbilt plays # 21 Houston on Halloween --- bet when it got scheduled they thought they were getting a cupcake game

Mizzou's defense is pretty stout. Vandy's offense is atrocious. Vandy is going to need some turnovers, defensive tds or special team tds to win this one IMO. Mizzou hasn't allowed over 21 points to any opponent. As horrible as their offense is, their D keeps them in games.
I thought So Car was the worst team in the SEC until they beat Vandy.
