The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

It's funny how you can walk all around Vandy's campus, but unless you are on the streets directly surrounding their stadium, you would never see it. At other SEC schools, the stadium is visible for several blocks, even miles depending on your vantage point.

Tricking south Carolina you have to bus to it and you can see it from some parts of campus. I had a similar experience when I visited. We were one block away the whole time and I never knew until we left and someone commented on it.

It's literally right off of one of the most prominent streets in Nashville but unless someone driving by knew exactly where it was they'd probably miss it. Embarrassing.

You pretty much to be standing in the Wendy's parking lot to get a good view of it from West End.

Last Sunday morning after coming to Nashville for the game, my wife and I were following Garmin to go to church before coming home. I saw the Cathedral and Garmin said to turn at the next light. As I was turning, I happened to just notice a wall that read 'Vanderbilt University'. I was shocked. If not for having to turn at that light, I seriously doubt I would have ever known that there was a university right there.

Also had to share this post by their limp-wristed leader DonYates. In the thread where someone started asking if WKU beat BG 59-30 last year, he posted this:

Yeah Don....that's it. Actually we're too busy getting ready for a nationally hyped game against OU to worry about what WKU did to BG last year. Too bad the only nationally relevant part VU plays Saturday is everyone is wondering how badly UGA stomps you.

He's a complete dumbass. Has zero knowledge about the sport. I pity the poor fools that actually pay for that site.

They didn't really shut down Doughty at all. Their WRs left about 100 yards and a TD on the field due to drops. He still threw for 200+ yards and 2 TDs.

comparing everything they do to a CUSA team they lost to says it all. Back to moral victories constantly. Looks like a dooley fan base over in west end.
