Falcons have got to move on from Morris. I’m still trying to understand why they hired him. He is not a good HC. It feels like this team just isn’t truly committed to winning, especially at the administrative levels. It shows.

yeah, took him some time, but he is coming around.

Atlanta having the two best rookie pass rushers should be a huge plus going forward. assuming they get a competent coaching staff.

last year's best rookie had 8.5, so he should beat that.

he is tied for 14th most sacks in the league, and is the only rookie in the top 30. and is the most for a Falcon since 2017.

definitely seems like he was worth the trade.

Oh yes, very good move by the Falcons! Now what we need is to find a better coach. I really wish Morris was the guy, but I’m almost certain he isn’t. The Falcons have plenty of talent, they should be playing much better, and much more consistent ball.

I am not a fan, I don't watch much; but living down here I see a good bit, and pay enough attention for water cooler talk.

but even with those qualifiers I generally agree. talent level is far better than the results. it seems like they have enough talent to make it to the playoffs consistently; but not the coaching.

Morris has the politician problem imo. he talks a good talk, until you listen to him. and then he isn't saying anything at all. he can give you 5 minutes of filler without once addressing the actual topic. no idea how the team reacts to him, but in my very non-professional playing sports tenure I can say I didn't like those coaches.

man the falcons are going to mess around and win more games and end up keeping Morris. he will sell the future and talk his way into another season.
