Reggie just mentioned the played I talked about on VN Live. The QB draw on 3rd and 12 and Crompton doesn't check out of it when the team loads the box with 8 guys

Crompton: "We're going to get back and correct it and it will get better like it always does" yeah that worked after the Florida game buddy

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Crompton wasn't allowed to change plays. His freshman year he called one of the dumbest audibles at the end of the SC game when Ainge was hurt. It was so bad that the coaches flew off the sideline calling timeout and put Ainge in on one leg to kill the clock.

Competition i bet. He played great against bad competition. You can't totally blame Fulmer for getting him. Spurrier told him if he came to SCe, he would make him the face of the program

Did Ainge actually get back in? I can't remember for sure. However, the point still stands.
