The Last Thing You Purchased II

I'm looking at one of those or a larger Toyota Hybrid. Not sure I drive enough though.
Well, the missus told me to get a small SUV/crossover to better haul our glamping gear for 3-day loop rides and other excursions. My Honda was 19 years old, and Toyota’s RAV4 hybrid offered some improved performance and gas mileage in 2019. As I was expecting to retire in less than 10 years, I bit down and bought one. The pandemic reduced the amount of miles I was driving, so I’ve put less than 40k miles on the vehicle in the past 6+ years. Overall, I’ve been satisfied with it.

I have a 2022 Mazda CX-5. 8000 miles. I don't get out enough.
Wife has a Lexus RX 350. I drive that some. Like now at Miramar Beach, FL.

All new appliances. Bought my house 15 yrs ago & replaced all the appliances with whirlpool. They still work, but getting old & slow. Like when using the oven & have to let it cook for an additional 10 mns or so.

Went with GE this time

After ~28 years, my Whirlpool washing machine quit working reliably. They don’t make ’em like they used to. I bought a Speed Queen to replace it.

I usually don't upgrade with my carrier (AT&T), but the deal was too good to pass up. iPhone 17 Pro Max (and a regular pro for the wife who also decided to go with the orange). $2.38/month for my upgrade and $0 for hers. We usually upgrade every 2-3 years so it made sense.

I normally buy something with the expectation of keeping it for as long as it works, but the latest trade in values make it a nobrainer to upgrade phones

I’ve had my fraternity letters on my ankle since I was 18. I am 49 now, so am always kind of embarrassed by it. Decided to have it covered up today. What do y’all think?
