My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Feud, mal. The final episode concluded satisfactorily.

Trot lines are for subsistence fishing. Many places which support sports angling outlaw them. I found one on the Tugaloo River, years ago. Glad I spotted it before it entangled my boat motor.

It was a really good mini-series. I could not have been Bob. That poor guy. Lol

Yeah, me either. My wife identified with Harriet (Bob's wife) and thought Bob got what he deserved. Judiciously, I avoided discourse on the subject.

We used them for catfish quite a bit in SW Arky. I think the turtles got more than we did.

Yep. Most trot lines are for catfish. Some anglers don't care for cats on rod & reel, but I've felt the fight from flatheads, blues, and channel cats. When a big flathead roils, it's sportin'.

Sadly, my wife thinks catfish are "trash eaters" and avoids them as table fare. I cannot dissuade her of this prejudice, even though she declares foreign species of cats tasty (these are sold under names which don't make evident that their catfish).

I found a pic of Joe...
