FWIW, STYX announced a new album yesterday that is to be released on 16 June, 2017. It is titled " The Mission".

I saw them on VH1 a couple years doing the complete Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight albums. The guy that replaced DeYoung sounds just like him.

Since my favorite Styx song (Castle Walls) is on Grand Illusion, I'll have to go with that. But Pieces of Eight would be close.

Grand Illusion tour was my first concert ever. My uncle took me to it at the early age of 13. That's why I was such a Styx fan all through my mid 20's.

Love Castle Walls. Those keyboards have this eerie Halloween feel to them.

Yep.

Was rumored that's where the music in the Halloween movie came from, but Dennis DeYoung debunked that.

The Lords of the Ring was supposed to have some satanic message, but DeYoung debunked that also. Saying it was about the band being "lords" of the arenas .

James Young with his degree in Rocket Engineering or something like it, was lead vocals in Miss America.

Crystal Ball and Boat on the River were 2 of my favorites by Tommy Shaw.

Cornerstone was a good album too. Borrowed Time was fun. Imo

Me too. Starting my movie, then gotta get ready to fish. I think my kids and dog are asleep, I haven't heard a sound in 5 minutes!
