The Kiffen Saga So Far

And therein lies your problem. Your obvious hate for the man renders any of your statements sorely lacking in objectivity. You state you detest Kiffin, but I fail to see how you could arrive at such feelings in such a short period of time. Is there some hidden man-love for our previous coach tainting your judgement?

He is a "hog hunter" ie: likes to frck the big ones. Sorry best I could do on short notice.

You act as though I'm defending Fulmer. I think Fulmer should have been fired and I think Kiffin was the best of the coaches available. I just think Kiffin needs to learn the rules and close his mouth until he has done anything worth while. I was also simply stating that his off season program is not really much different then from what everyone else is doing. I just dont get how everyone is so enamored by this guy when he has done nothing yet. I have hope in him but this trash talk is getting us no were and is embarassing to the University. Trash talk does not improve any situation even if you back it up you still look arrogant.

i think everyone is enamored with having the exact polar opposite of the coach that seemed apathetic to the decline of our football program. jmo.

As is spelling the coach's name correctly. Calling someone else embarrassing after that disastrous wall of gibberish is amazing.

Don't worry Papa. It's all part of Kiffin's plan. By having his agents either misspell his name or print negative stories, he furthers his goal of distraction –a slight of hand so to speak to confuse our rivals and return UT to prominence. But, I thought you were savvy to his ways.

I totally agree. But that doesn't excuse CLK's blunders. If he can just shut up for a while, things should be fine.

I think when practice starts, things will calm down a lot. He has made some minor/secondary mistakes so far. It won't be long and it will be time to start coaching.

Agree. It appears the national media and a portion of the fan base choose to highlight the mostly inexcusable blunders instead of highlighting that in a short time frame, CLK has: 1. established the best supporting staff in CFB 2. energized most of the fan base 3. made a mark in the recruiting game 4. Most importantly - gotten the respect of the team.

Personally I don't mind this approach b/c there will be no excuses for not fielding a competitive and winning team in the near future. If he doesn't win, CLK won't be defended for being a nice guy.

I think this offense will struggle again year one

Just so you know I read it,,,, your negativity and statements regarding the performance of the upcoming team is dumb... you have no idea how this team will do, just as you are embarrassed about CLK's actions,,, I was way more embarrassed when I read last year about a receiver recruit from OK who came over for a visit and got basically busted for pot smoking with his two 'hosts'. That is embarrassing. What CLK has done so far qualifies in violation terms as the equivalent of a littering ticket.

So what you can't argue his points so you insult him instead? Give me a break. Not everyone is versed in this internet forum posting BS.

Geeezzz, give the guy a break.

Matt has been around long enough to know better.
