The Jeremy Pruitt Show - Charlotte

Bob asked why their were so many OL played and CJP responded "when you keep using the same guys and getting the same results, it's time to change some things" … not verbatim.

We had probably 10 different oline combinations prior to this game already.

Interesting sure enough. Seem to be applied inconsistently tho.
Well, what can we expect when you don't have a good performer to replace a bad one? What is the problem with Drew Richmond? Just can't figure this one out. He was highly recruited, 4 or 5 star. Can't even (or won't) block a CUSA lineman.

I'm sure some would say he read a few NegaVol posts, and now he doesn't consider life worth living.

If everyone remembers, Josh Dobbs ran for his life on almost every snap! What do you expect when you have the very same players, with a couple of exceptions, on the OL? Remember QD getting blasted every play? Come on folks, it will take CJP two to three recruiting classes to begin to straighten out the dumpster fires on OL, DL and LB.

I agree Big D, not sure why some are surprised at the results. Pruitt has focused on recruiting top guys at this position group this year, and looks poised to bring in better talent. I think we need to see this for what it is, a total rebuild of the OL, and really DL as well. It wouldn't hurt to add a top running back either.

Two or three years and JG will be in a wheel chair. We need a qb that can and will run with the ball.

I've kind of reached a point where I feel sorry for Richmond. It's obvious the problem is between his ears, and it's playing out on national TV.

Because JG is really, really, really, really tough.

Winning requires more than toughness... Though it's good that JG is really... tough since he apparently can't read a defense, pick up a blitz or step to the right when he clearly sees a defender making a b-line for him. Funny how many sacks he has and how few KC has.

Backs that run the ball are called Running Backs. What we need is a QB that can read the D, recognize a blitz and be able to look beyond his primary receiver. Oh and maybe step to the right when a defender is barreling down on him. KC showed he can do all this against Bama but for what ever reason the coaches are sticking with JG so JG may well end the season in a w.c..

JG has been sacked 18 times and his rushing yardage in negative for the year.
KC has NOT been sacked and at least has positive yardage running though he's not really a running qb.
