If D Mo is back next year, and if his coverage skills catch up to his tackling skills. If Gerald Williams gets in. If Brandon Warren gets in. If Antonio Gaines gets another year of elgibility. If Mayo, Foster, and Parker stay for their Sr. years.......... the team up on Rocky Top might be in good shape for the next couple of years. How many of these ifs will be reality?

I say D-Mo gets in.. and Gerald Williams
I say Foster stays along with Parker
Mayo goes.. and even if Antonio Gaines stays he won't see alot of PT

i would love to see Warren get in but i say its 50/50 right now

Why not on Warren; he's already sat out a year.

and with all of that talent, we will still manage to lose 3 or 4 games

I think things look positive. A new OC may be just the medicine our "tired" offense needs, and our D, with or without Mayo should be very good, obviously better with him, but still. I think recruiting will be ok. D-Mo compliments our D, Brandon Warren if he clears everything compliments our O. I think I look forward to next season more than I have looked forward to any season since Peyton's SR year. There is certainly alot of potential. BUT, I think we gotta find some leadership on offense, it has been missing for a long time. And also, how does everyone "gel" with each other and how does everyone "gel" with the new coaches. Who is the QB and how well does he perform as a first year starter? Still alot of questions that we wont know the answer to until the season starts, but enough to be "cautiously" excited about.

I particularly agree with this. We need a great player leader - either on offense or defense. I hope that Crompton can fill this role, I think he has all the prerequisites.

I've got 14 "ifs" for you. IF we can win all 14 games next year we'll be champions and this argument is a moot point.
