Agree. The man refused to lose and the more pressure the better he played. Notre Dame was another fine example. Need more like him on the team now.

I don't remember any other QB winning road games like Casey Clausen. Wherever he went, there he was. I always said if all our guys played at the same level as Casey, we would win more games.

As long as those road games didn’t entail rain. Very small hands for a qb from what I can remember

I always liked him. Seemed like he wore shoes that were 3 sizes too big but was a hell of a QB.

I was pretty young and stupid, but thought I knew it all; but when he was here, I was always nervous he’d trip and fall on his clown shoes. His throws were were wobbling, quacking ducks, but them receivers were always there to haul them in. I miss the days of Casey dropping back on his clown shoes.

I was sitting on row 2 nearby where they were hanging out and talking for about 15 minutes. He was nice enough to allow some fan a few seats over from us take a selfie.

I remember a game years ago, don't recall who we were playing , and Clausen ran in for a touchdown and was tackled as he was crossing the goal line. The commentator, probably Gary Danielson, said it looked like a giraffe falling out of a tree.

Man, that seems like a lifetime ago when we were beating Alabama and had guys like that on the field. Big time names for us in just about every highlight. I was glad to see him back. It just seems like he gets overlooked for what he did here sometimes.
