I'm still trying to figure out why they don't have gatorade or powerade for sale.$3.50/4.00 for coke or bottled water.Over 90 degrees in the sun prior to kick off.

They have the concessions at Vandy stadium this year too. But Vandy's had those condiment stands there for years and they do suck. After standing in line for the concessions, you have to stand in line for the lousy mustard because everyone has to take the hot dog out of the pack, pump the mustard, then put it back in.

I've got a grand idea: Give Sam and Andy's the concession.

:wavey: yeah, i'll take a steak and cheese on dark bread.:rock2:

no to mention the first place i went to get water was out of change. yes, out of change. i had to basically bargain with them for two waters. this was 15 minutes before kickoff.

between two of us, we drank 5 waters at the game.

I'm thinking of contracting out the old Gus's delivery guy to personally attend to my closest friends and I. Anybody in?

And the hotdogs weren't even in an aluminum foil pouch!!! They where in a freaking cheap plastic baggy! Pissed me off! And the fact that there wasn't even mustard in the bag had me ticked!!! And the smokey dogs blow!!! They are ruining Neyland and one of my favorite pasttimes, which is getting a good hotdog at Neyland!!!! :finger3: sudexho

sodexho runs the cafeteria and store at my work...freakin horrible. i could write an essay on how bad they are, but pretty much the food sucks and is almost always overcooked, and they like to buy individual items and open the packages and repack them with smaller amounts and sell them for the original price...they are all about screwing the customer just to make an extra buck.

To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of any of the concessions at Neyland, except for the now extinct Smokey Dogs. Now that Sodexho is in charge, things will get much worse. Hopefully UT will rethink their decision and drop them next season, before a lot of people avoid the concession stands altogether.

Shouldn't all you guys be sending emails on this subject and your experiences to the athletic department and university administration instead of just posting it here? Heck, just send 'em this whole thread!!!

I had been eating Smokey Dogs for just over 30 yrs and it has been one of those traditions that I always looked forward to. First thing I did when I got to the stadium was buy two Smokey Dogs a big Coke and head to my seat. Needed the sustenance for energy. This absolutely sucks! One more of those little traditional things gone by the way side in the name of the almighty dollar. Damn I looked forward to those Smokey Dogs!!!!

It's time to bring George out of retirement and open a Roman Room in Neyland.

Excellent ideas. I would also like to see a Vic and Bill's in the stadium, too. If for no other reason, to see if the cross dressers show.
