Starting with the athletic dept. They need to show some competency and that it isn't some rich booster's plaything. A decent coach wants control of the program without an AD or a booster looking over his shoulder, questioning his every decision.

Its going to take some time. We fans aren't good with patience. I know I'm not.

It really is sad where we are right now. I never thought Tennesse would be a laughing stock, but here we are. Just pick someone so we wont be in the spotlight anymore!

I agree, but not many people consider patience to cover over ten years. I mean a couple bad seasons is patience. This is something altogether different

Pittsburgh
South Alabama
+1 (UConn?)
Crossover SEC west = Ole Miss in GN

5 Guaranteed wins for our new coach in his first year.

Only need 1 Win from Ky/Mizzou/Vandy.

First bowl game since 2016.

I keep saying this...Gundy supposedly turned down $7 Million per year so that's PROOF that $$$$$ simply is NOT a problem.

We should NOT settle for chopped liver, NEVER!

Forcee Pedersen, Venables or some other top coach say no to $7 Million or $7.5 Million or maybe even $8 Million per year PLUS all the $$$ they'll need to hire a top notch staff of coaches/recruiters.

The ONLY way we'll compete on the field WILL be with a top notch coaching staff that are also excellent recruiters!

People on here are saying wait and see who Fulmer hires...WRONG!

If we wait and see then it's too late for us, the Loyal fans to say or do anything, then we're already stuck with whoever we get.

BEFORE Fulmer makes a hire is when we fans should get LOUD again and make our demands well known to him and everyone else.

March on Neyland again, blow up twitter and facebook and contact the Govenor and state representatives so they KNOW beyond any doubt that we want Pedersen, Venables or some other TOP notch HC and a staff of great coaches and great recruiters to rebuild our player roster faster than a nobody coach will.

They used Fulmer as a PR move to shut us up and it's worked to perfection so far, NOW we need to stand up and let them know again that we will NOT accept a middle of the road HC and staff when we have plenty of $$$$$ to go hire 1 of the best.

Make it happen Tennessee faithful!

Terms like "supposedly" and "reportedly" don't mean a whole lot. Remember Kelly "turned down" an offer never made.

Now about the other part - kidnapping - forcing someone to be somewhere against his/her will. It doesn't generally make for good performance. Not everyone can be bought, and not everyone wants to leave a current position - strange as that apparently sounds to you.

We reportedly had Leach. Never proven. There is no real proof that either Kiffin or Miles would come here. Just pure speculation and conjecture.

Stop kidding yourself. Very few real coaches want anything to do with the dumpster fire that is Tennessee. We suck and will continue to do so. Why? Because all we did was remove a band aid when Currie was ousted. The cause of that wound is still festering in Tennessee. We still have Jimmy "mosquito d***" Haslam.

This day and age had changed but any hire and bring vfls I'm game, relaxation at night knowing Fulmer is here helps
