The smoke has closed streets and downtown smells like a big barbecue. Pretty unreal. I thought Rohm-Haas was smelly, but it completely drowns that out, imo...

Just that they are usually casued by spontaneous combustion. And are almost never, ever, ever the result of arson.

Had a guy drive the green on the short, downhill par 4 on the white holes. He hit it up to the right on the slope just perfectly and it trickled down onto the green about 5 feet from the pin. Then he choked and missed his eagle putt.

I love that hole. The bunker stretching all the way across the front of the green is killer, but if you have an accurate drive, you can pop it up on the slope to the right of the green.

Mine was a par 3 using a 9 iron. It did not touch the green. We heard the "bwang" when it hit the cup and flag on the fly.
