From game 1:

The Good...
I was not embarrassed by the coach.
The drive in Q2 offered promise.
QB play was adequate.
WRs showed promise.
There were more plays than bubble R, bubble L, sweep, punt if no turnover.

The Bad...
For the most part, the OL.
RBs could not get momentum.
No DL pressure.

The Uuuuuugly...
DBs were absent.
A cheater (Grier) is being touted for Heisman while Pete Rose can't make the HOF.
Hopes of the masses were shut down.
UT would not make the FCS playoff field today.
Alabama is flooded with drool at the thought of playing UT.

Yeah taking some Peds really compares to placing bets on your own team as a manager. I can't believe there are still some people that try to excuse what Pete Rose did. His transgressions were the most damaging thing you can do in sport to the Integrity of the game.

What part of "today" did you not understand?

I don't think it's too early to say that UT would not make the FCS playoff field this year. We are not one of the best teams in the nation that is a known. There are very few teams that are in that rarefied position of having the opportunity to compete for that.
