The Bad:
1. Crompton is still Crompton
2. Cody Sullins and Vlad were getting owned..I would say Vlads is more due to lack of push with that achilles
3. not sure why we didnt go more north to south in the passing game..too much sideline to sideline throws across his body against a fast secondary...it seems like Kiffin just doesnt want to open up playbook until next wk
4. not enough Teague...Gerald should have been on the bench because he made several wrong routes on key plays

The good:
1. Kiffin figured out he couldnt trust Crompton and stuck with the run and dared his team to be physical..even though we came up one yard short it sends a message to your team to man up

2. The defense wasnt like last year and looked dominate once again...they prob pitch a shut out if not for turnovers

3. Kiffin plays to win instead of "not to lose"....we still lost but he gave the players a chance to win it with the fourth downs

4. Hardesty and Brown put up over 100 yds total and fought for every bit of it since the holes were not there.

5. USC was not very good in Pete Carrol's first year until he got his own players in there and the same is to be expected here until we got those fast mean olineman, tall WRs, and stud qbs.

Outlook on the future...Crompton gets one more shot against FLA and Stephens is starting after another expected poor performance

Other than the D, there was NO GOOD from this game.

the good: We were in a position to win after looking woefully inept on offense.

the bad: We dont have a qb that we can trust enough to put the ball in his hands on 4th and goal from the 2

I was thinking bootleg on that play. I like the physical mindset, although it cost us tonight.

I would love to know who the hell stole Crompton's jersey last week...I still didn't like the face that he was booed during the game, that's tasteless, even though he played horrible, no wonder the kid has no confidence

That being said, I don't know that we will have to even wait another game to see Nick Stephens

more trust in QB and we go play action there all the way. I would have chose Hardesty over Crompton with the game on the line as well

the kid has no confidence because he cant stop throwing it to the other team

he is terrible, deserved to get booed whether hes on the field, in class, at the movies, or at the cleaners. Can anyone name a QB that has been worse for the Vols... ever?

Right, I understand that and they had every reason to be pissed because his play was unacceptable but booing those kids are a different story IMO

I think you are spot on except for Crompton's one more shot. My heart can't take it!
