B.J. Coleman. This kid is going to be a special quarterback at UT. Cutcliffe loves him. He has great leadership skills and a rocket arm. He may be the local kid who leads the Vols to the promise land along with Lennon Creer, Chris Donald, Eric Berry, Chris walker, Darris Sawtelle, William Brimfield, Ben Martin, that will be a heckuva senior class.

I have seen BJ play, as well as play backyard football with him. Not only is he majorly talented, but he is a great, respectful guy.

Not to mention Brent Vinson, Gerald Jones, Ahmad Paige and Brandon Warren, that team will be LOADED.

And the O-linemen that we load up on in this class will be juniors.

And none of played a down of football.

Control yourselves. I'm excited as hell, but come on, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I know, 28 days seems so long, but it's not.

I just think saying every promising prospect is the next Al Wilson, Robert Meachem, Chad Clifton, etc, is a little foolish and makes us all kind of look silly.

It's way too far into the offseason to be able to control myself. I have to play out imaginary football seasons in my head just to stay sane.

We can all hope that one day, we will field a Superteam that overpowers everyone in its path and as a UGA announcer who ruined my childhood would say STEPS ON THEIR FACES AND BREAKS THEIR NOSE!

Ok ive never seen BJ play, i hope he will be great but what's going to happen next year at QB? Crompton will go into the fall as the #1 ... Assuming BJ redshirts this year he will be a redshirt frosh. Will he be competing with JC for starting job in 08?

and we are recruiting some studs at qb now and im sure in the years to come.. you think BJ will be better than them? Could this scare other recruits from signing with UT?

28 DAYS!!

We are only recruiting 1 Qb and it is all-or-nothing cause he is Terrelle Pryor. If Pryor comes to UT, which he may you never know, he will likely beat out BJ in 2010. Crompton for 08 and 09 and Coleman will take over from there.

Forgive my ignorance, but I eventually stopped following the Brandon Warren saga. So will he sit out this season and be an eligible sophomore in 2008? Is he going to be a TE at UT?

He's trying to enroll for fall for classes. The earliest he could play is 2008, and yes, at TE. I believe he's at Pellissippi right now.

Doesn't he have to sit out two years, 2007 and 2008?

Why two? He wasn't transferring from another SEC school.

If I remember correctly it's because he didn't leave in good standing. He left FSU in the middle of the semester. If he would have finished it out, he would have only had to sit out one year.

Now, if he gets enrolled and completes a year of junior college he would be eligible to play in 2008.
