I guess it goes with how inept and conservative our coaches are but this weekend to us older guys use to be something special. Everyone looked forward to the game and the competitive nature of the game. Now I face it with dread,knowing it's not going to be a competitive game. This is what Butch Jones has given us.

I'm going hunting Saturday ........ all damn day. I think it'll be much more healthy and productive.

The 3rd Saturday in October used to be "the Game" for the Vols, now the Vols can't beat Vandy or SC, much less Bama, it's been many years since the Vols have won a east championship and now mediocrity has set in and no one believes anymore......Sad really:popcorn:

In fairness, it was bad before Jones ever took the reigns.

Is there any chance to stop the run, and make them throw? I think we have a better shot of stopping the pass.

The fight has been taken out of us fans, but let’s see how these kids react. That’s the only joy I can see watching this Alabama game.

Yeah, Vol SEC wins seem to be proportional to the number of big bucks I've been seeing lately too.


That'd be a big fat zero. There may be a unicorn analogy in there somewhere as well.

I didn't even argue with my wife to go to Indiana for her cousin's wedding this weekend. I figure win, win, win, win. Butch gets hammered, I don't have to watch it. Butch get axed, Maybe get some points out of it since we know the Vols cannot score. That's where this administration has pushed me to a wedding...#GoVols #nextyear #newlovablelosers

Bama was regularly kickin' the Vols' asses before Butch got here..... an older guy such as yourself should know this.

All I've ever known from the Tennessee-Alabama games are heartbreaks and beat-downs. I wish I could understand where you're coming from, but I can't.
