If we win the penalty and turnover battle second half, get some more pressure on Grier for more continued good stops and put together more touchdown drives, we can win this one. I've loved the ball security. We step up the blocking all around, run more north and south, and keep building on the things that worked first half with balanced offense, we have a good one to look forward to. We can win the field position battle, force turnovers and capitalize where we have the advantages/mismatches. I'm really pleased with no turnovers. Todd Kelly, Jr. doesn't give up that 59 yarder if he was out there. Need solid tackling every time and no arm tackles. Penalties cost points by keeping drives alive when we had the stop that resulted in giving up points. We're in this and can get on top with more determination.
As many negative plays and mistakes as we made early, and the way our offense controlled the ball on the scoring drive, I like we are right now all things considered.
I thought JG threw the ball well when he had time. Drops were a big issue in practice, supposedly, but our guys seemed to have corrected that, which is great to see.
Ballsy call by Pruitt on fourth down. They had their play ready, and it worked.
Best play he made was the quick pass to the back when they sent the House. Think it was 4th qtr. but yeah kid did well I thoughtAs many negative plays and mistakes as we made early, and the way our offense controlled the ball on the scoring drive, I like we are right now all things considered.
