The final word on Kiffin's (lack of) experience

Kiffin = unproven
Kiffin = has not been successful.

How is this not an arguement???????

Can I make it any more simple?????? Why don't you understand????

Great. Ohio Vol argued against those sentiments. Either try to introduce something new and supportive of your position or stop posting. Mocking his posts with smiley faces isn't helping.

I just don't get it. The subtitle to this thread would be, "Getting a Least Experienced Coach is the Best Move".

Is it just me, or is this the most idiotic position one could take?

What Ohio Vol conveniently fails to mention is that none of the coaches listed above played in a conference where almost half the opposing teams are coached by NC winners. This is a huge variable that he seems to ignore.

Looks like we're going to have the least experienced coach in the SEC. Thanks Hamilton........you're going to look pretty bad when the dust settles.

CPF was a NC winner. .....wooooo how scary. He had opponents shaking in their boots.

Meyer is a NC winner. Didn't Ole Miss beat them.

Miles is a NC winner. How can anyone beat LSU. They are undefeated aren't they?

In case you missed it, we've never declared war on anyone. We are not involved in conflicts as were done in WWI & WWII, which would be equivalent to doing battle "week in and week out".

Then tell me and all the other service members who have actually done a tour over there that we were not in a battle "week in and week out". Much like the hiring of Kiffin, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. If you are gonna shoot off your mouth, please load your brain before you do it.

I'm not mocking him, but all those coaches he mention never had this to contend with this in their respective conferences:

Saban
Meyer
Richt
Spurrier
Miles
Nutt
Petrino

One would have to concede (if they were being honest) that even most of the coaches in the SEC that haven't won NC are pretty darn good coaches.

And now.......we have.....Kiffin.

What a joke.

I actually served, so I think I do in fact know what I'm talking about.

Read my post..I specifically said this was a stupid argument. Learn to read and then comment.

I haven't followed this thread too closely, but reading your posts leads me to this question:

Are you a Tennessee fan?

Bill Walsh faced loads of coaches ten times better than any of those guys. Spurrier, Saban, and Petrino all tried to get it done in the NFL and failed. Miles was the luckiest man in the world to win a championship last year, and he will never repeat that success. Petrino will have Arkansas on probation before long. Richt hasn't managed to dominate Vanderbilt and Kentucky lately. Spurrier has pretty much proven he'll never be a threat to win the SEC while at South Carolina. Houston Nutt just got fired and we won't face him often, anyway. Saban and Meyer will obviously be big challenges, but they aren't unbeatable.

Yeah, that's what I said. Didn't you just tell someone to learn how to read? You specifically mentioned that no one on Ohio Vol's list played against the caliber of coaches the SEC has. You are wrong.

Absolutely. That's exactly why I want us to hire a proven coach. Not take a gamble.

It appears to be over and done. What are you hoping to achieve now? A do over? He wasn't my top choice either, but you have to accept reality and support the program moving forward.

So you served a tour overseas during the current conflict? Serving in peacetime, while very honorable, is not the same as dodging bullets downrange. No amount of training prepares you for that first time. Until you have "been there", you don't have a freaking clue what you are talking about.

Now on to football.... All I have seen from you is this constant whining about this hire, without one SHRED of evidence supporting your position. We all know Kiffin's HC record at Oakland and I think that I can comprehend that you are not impressed. You keep blathering about is how he is an unproven coach, no HC experience. I do seem to notice that you keep dodging the same question that everyone else is asking you which is this.....

How does no experience as a HC equate to CLK not having success at UTK? Ohiovol has shown you multiple examples(2 currently in the SEC) of coaches that had no HC experience, and yet found some way to become successful.

Maybe I am not the one with the reading comprehension problem..........

Ohio's Vol list is impressive but doesn't address his lack of experience as a coordinator either

he was CO-Coordinator at USC and for only 2 years
no list will make up for his lack of experience

hopefully his staff (his dad coming helps enormously) and his recruiting pays off, and he gets up to speed quickly

I hope he gets Applewhite as an OC

No, put you can address this:

You asked twice so I assume this is a huge point for you. I answered and await your brilliant reply.

I already know math isn't your thing; reposting exactly what you said earlier would also demonstrate that English isn't your strong suit either.
