Since the regular season doesn't really matter, and only thing you have to do is win enough to get in the tournament, the should just rank uconn, dead last to start the season. See how quick they can move up by the end of the year.

With the team they had this year? Probably #1 by the time they beat SC in February.

Fourth in the SEC guess we did make the final four in the SEC after all. Get out that check book Mr. Hart Holly needs raise and extension.:rolleyes:

We were the highest ranked team with the most losses(14). Only Oklahoma & Washington were even close to us in losses. The both had 11 losses. How much would you'll bet the #19 final ranking with that many losses was based on program tradition even though we made the Elite 8?

My biggest disagreement with this final poll is "Blohio State" being ranked #10. They should be no higher than #21!
Especially after being blown out by the #19 Lady Vols!

Umm our #1 SOS is a pretty big factor there.

I think it would be safe to say that next season is the make or break season for CHW. Anybody interested in putting odds on which way it will go? Number 19 with that roster--and not much coming to replace them? I wish her luck next year--we'll see.

I think of our situation and I think of Ohio State couple of seasons ago..... OK we like you Jim Foster, but ya ain't makin' it rain...... let's get Kevin Guff in here..... and even if you hate Kevin guff, he is light years ahead of Foster...... I do not see any great strides any of our players have made in the HW era.... JMO

Unless you win it, the tournament doesn't make up for the rest of the season.

No way Tennessee would deserve to be ranked higher than teams like SC or ND, who had terrific regular seasons only to have a bad day at the office in their last game of the year.

I wouldn't even put them ahead of Miss State, who beat them twice but had the misfortune of being in UConn's bracket.
