That's just their way of agitating their dwindling viewer base to make social media conversation. Hell, even with their lack of knowledge on the subject, they know better than that. (I think)

Conference title games mean nothing. Not sure how many years in a row people need to see this happening to understand
Well, the thing is, the CFP projections just came out and people will react. As long as the games are played, we will do that. You being so much wiser than everyone else won't change that.

I’m not wiser than anyone else. But the CFP has made it clear for years these conferenc title games are all reward and zero risk.

I think they got it right for a change. However, I question bama in there, uga rolled them. ND needs to join a conference or get rid of conference champions or have 2 divisions in each conference-or best 2 in the conference based on a metric that all conferences must use.

I think it was the right call. All 3 finished the regular season 10-2. Bama's strength of schedule and strength of record were much better than Miami or ND's. If you didn't let them in you would be punishing them for reaching the SEC championship game, whereas ND deliberately avoids a conference and Miami couldn't reach its conference game. Then it's Miami or ND and Miami beat ND on the field.
