That could be our future bowl opponent.
How’d they look?
IMO, Tennessee favored by at least a touchdown, provided Milton does well against Vandy. Tulane has a really good back in Tyjae Spears, and their QB is a third year starter. Good wideouts, too. I think we manhandle them. It’s an AAC team, and they have nothing to lose, so they have that going for them.

Going to the Cotton Bowl will be a huge deal for the school. Despite that, Tulane is relatively small school with alumni spread out all over the place and they will not travel well compared to Tennessee. I read a few weeks ago that the school’s one NIL has raised a total of about $200,000.

They also have a tough time attracting fans to games-you could’ve seen them host Central Florida in a top 20 match a few weeks ago for about 10 bucks and there were still empty seats. One thing surprising is that it cost less to buy a beer than a bottle of water at a Tulane football game (but hey, it’s New Orleans).

Tulane made some pretty bad mistakes regarding their football program. One was dropping out of the SEC. The second one was tearing down the on campus stadium to start playing in the Superdome. Tulane’s stadium, the Sugar Bowl, held over 80,000 people and hosted three Super Bowls. Here’s more than you probably wanted to know: Tulane Stadium - Wikipedia
