As fate would have it, I was offered the position at the other school today… The one I first interviewed with. 2 interviews and 2 offers… I mean it’s nice to be wanted, but choosing between 2 really good schools is difficult!! I went with my gut and took the first offer. Same district, so less transition. Time will tell if I made the right call.

I’m alive. Just finished my last day at my old job. Start at a new school as a school counselor in the fall… but I will be teaching summer school as well. $2000 take home pay for 8 days of work (4 hrs/day) was hard to pass up.
