The curse of Surge energy drink. It was discontinued in 99 iirc, we won't be successfull until the bring it back. SURGE!! EXTREME!!

I really like the jumbotron but I think you may be on to something... so tear it down!

Used to people got tickets for UT games and wondered how the view of field is. Now I hear people brag about how good the view of the jumbotron is. If you want to watch the game on a screen, the view from your living room is better.

I lived in Franklin, Tn. In 1999. I moved Back to Brentwood in late '99. Maybe that had something to do with it. (tic).

Not sure about a curse, but they need to learn how to use the thing for replays on big plays and reviewed plays. I am getting tired of them not doing that the last two weeks. If they aren't using it for those purposes, then it is a waste of money...

They're not allowed to show the replay of a play that is being reviewed. They actually did a good job this past game of showing a replay of our fumble recover before Dooley decided to challenge it.

Is this a new rule? I thought they use to show the replays. Sorry for my ignorance.

Maybe it has more to do with them tearing down the VOLS sign that was where the jumbotron is at now! Bring back the VOLS sign and all we be back to normal!

Not a huge impact but probably a slight one. People aren't as loud due to the JT, some wait to watch the replay rather than scream actomatically as they used to. But now most stadiums have them so its about equal probably.

However, that 2001 team was loaded with talent and should have won the SEC and played for the NC.

Yep...this is the issue at hand. A 6 pack of this and I could win the game myself....including forming my own power T.....lol
