It only takes half a brain to realize the recent litigation was a money grab. There were something like 8-12 plaintiffs and people who piled on at the last minute when nothing had been decided by the school or a court in any case. UT only settle for 1.2 million that's a little over the legal fees for the plaintiffs if that. If there were any validity to the litigation or claims no one would've settled or UT would've paid over 100 Million because their hands would've been tied. UT only settled for a small sum because it was tired of the planted releases through the press that made it look bad based on timing and headline not actual court documents. I mean all you have to do is dive into the entirety of the Jamie Naughright case (who was included as a plaintiff) to know this was all BS. She is certifiably insane. Anyway I would venture to guess we either hired a new chancellor who is off their rocker already because we don't need an image rehab or this isn't true about her. And for anyone wondering Butch can't coach the simplest of aspects of the game, his in game decisions are terrible, and it's starting to prove he can't run a program. My "sources" tell me the lockerroom is fed up with him but we don't have anyone man enough to lead that isn't draft worthy or a senior. Here's to hopefully winning more than we should next year inspite of Butch and us departing from him sooner than later.

Right now is already too late to start searching for a top coach.
Now is when we should start the search to replace buTch after next season.
Things that must be done first...
1...Get our new AD in place.
2...Get our big boosters all arranged with their $$$ commitments to pay all buyouts plus to spend BIG $$$ to hire a new top of the line coaching staff for ALL sports.
3...Learn and admit that after nick saTan was hired it's 100% ALL about the $$$ so make a top 5 list of the best coaches for each sport and start discussions with all of them to learn how much $$$ it will take to hire them away from their current jobs.
4...Stay above board and notify buTch and all our other coaches that they either get us to the SEC Championship game by next season or expect to be replaced...That might also force a coach or 2 to resign and then we can hire a 1 year interim HC while we go after proven top Winners for al programs.
5...New admin and AD must make it well known to all the world that Tennessee is damn determined to again become a top competitor in all sports.
Right now is when we're getting a new top admin who must also get a top AD and get everything back on track for all time by the end of next season.
Don't procrastinate and wait until we lose all our top talent and have to rebuild again from a total dumpster fire.
Tennessee should become a top destination for the best coaches and staffs in the country where all top recruits want to come study and play.
UT sports brings in far too much $$$$ for our top leaders to keep playing around with!
If we want lots more $$$$ to make us a better research and teaching university then step 1 is to make our AD a top performing school for all our major sports to keep the big $$$$ rolling in.
If it means we have to get into a bidding war to get the top coaches and staff then NOW is the right time for all our big $$$ donors and top admins to get it all together so by the end of next season we can fight that big $$$ bidding war and WIN just like we expect to WIN in all our major sports.
